НОК Украины объявил, что спортсмены этой страны не будут участвовать в отборочных соревнованиях к летним Играм 2024 года в Париже вместе с представителями России.
Об этом по украинскому ТВ заявил член исполкома Национального олимпийского комитета Олег Немчинов: «Мы приняли протокольное решение, что будем принимать участие только в тех отборочных соревнованиях, где нет украинцев».
По словам Немчинова, если это правило будет нарушено, то украинская федерация по соответствующему виду спорта может быть лишена статуса национальной.
Напомним, что МОК 28 марта рекомендовал вновь допустить украинских спортсменов к международным соревнованиям — в нейтральном статусе и с рядом других существенных ограничений.
